Marcie was a tissue donor. Her corneas helped restore the sight of two people and burn victims including firefighters received tissue donations that helped in their recovery. As a result, the Marcie Mazzola Foundation has been dedicated since inception to help spread awareness about the growing need for organ and tissue donations, the facts about donation, and how to sign up.

Nancy Mazzola Receives the Gilbert Tilles Award
The Association of Fundraising Professionals of Long Island hosted its Annual Philanthropy Day on Thursday, November 15th at the Melville Marriott.
The AFP presented the Gilbert Tilles Award to Nancy Mazzola – President, Marcie Mazzola Foundation as one who truly exemplifies the real spirit of giving and helps to make Long Island the great community it is.

Long Island YMCA Recognizes Nancy & Paul Mazzola
The Long Island YMCA held its Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner at the Milleridge Cottage on May 17th. Nancy & Paul Mazzola were chosen by the Huntington YMCA to receive the “Adults of the Year” Award for the philanthropic work that they do and for the support that the Marcie Mazzola Foundation has given to the Huntington YMCA.
The Marcie Mazzola Foundation has had an annual 5K Run/Walk for the past six years. Proceeds from the race establish YMCA Summer Camp scholarships for underprivileged children in Huntington Township. Nancy and Paul were honored to receive the award and thank the Long Island YMCA for all that it does to serve the community.

Marcie Mazzola Foundation Receives Award
The Marcie Mazzola Foundation was presented with the “Voice For All Children Award” at the Coalition Against Child Abuse & Neglect’s Annual Gala. The Gala was held on October 14, 2010 at Carlyle on the Green at Bethpage State Park.
The foundation was recognized for its work in helping to change the lives of children.
