LiveOnNY presented Nancy Mazzola with an award “for demonstrating an extraordinary spirit of generosity and compassion in her efforts to advance organ and tissue donation.”  (Pictured with Nancy is Helen Irving CEO LiveOnNY)

Marcie was a tissue donor.  Her corneas helped restore the sight of two people and burn victims including firefighters received tissue donations that helped in their recovery.  As a result, the Marcie Mazzola Foundation has been dedicated since inception to help spread awareness about the growing need for organ and tissue donations, the facts about donation, and how to sign up.
